Asif Mukhtar

Asif Mukhtar is a Consultant Pharmacist, healthcare innovator, and Founder of PharmBot AI. With over a decade of experience spanning community pharmacy, clinical practice, and digital health, Asif has dedicated his career to transforming how pharmacy services are delivered and accessed.

Recognising the growing pressures on pharmacists and the urgent need for technology to support safe and efficient care, he established PharmBot AI and created AIVAe, an intelligent virtual assistant designed to empower pharmacy teams and improve patient outcomes. His leadership brings together clinical expertise, regulatory insight, and a forward-looking vision for how artificial intelligence can be harnessed responsibly in healthcare.

Asif has written widely on AI and healthcare and has presented internationally, including at the FIP Congress 2024. He was also named a finalist for Healthcare Innovator of the Year 2024 in the HealthInvestor Power List.

In the long term, his mission is to position PharmBot as a trusted global partner for safe, efficient, and accessible pharmacy services, shaping the future of healthcare worldwide.
